2012 is the most anticipated year for the tech enthusiasts. With a taste of developer preview of Windows 8 to rumors of retina display in the iPad 3 everyone has focused their attention to the latest tech news to get a glimpse of what these new gadgets will come with. One of the major attractions is the Samsung S2 which was declared the ‘best smart phone of the year 2011′ by several reviewers is expected to come in another avatar – Samsung
Let us now check some rumored features of the Samsung Galaxy S3.
OS and Processor
According to some reputed tech-geeks, the Samsung S3 is expected to have the latest Android 4 or the Ice Cream Sandwich OS. It may also come with a quad core processor. However some rumors say that the phone will be available in two variants- dual core as well as quad core. The S3 is expected to house the quad core Samsung Exynos 4212 super fast 1.8GHz processor which will be a delight for playing games as well as performing other functions.
Also the Samsung team has supposedly added 2 GB RAM in the new beast. If it is so then it will be the highest among smart phones.
The latest unofficial information on the camera is that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will have a 12 MP camera. Now that will entice all the Samsung fans considering the Samsung image quality. It will definitely give tough completion to other phone models with 12 MP cameras. Also some people say it will come with 3D video recording capabilities. Now this is something the iPhones or lumias must be wary about. Some tech pundits also speculate on a 16 MP camera. Now that will be a feature nobody can’t resist!

Design and Display:
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is supposedly designed on its predecessor Samsung Galaxy Nexus/ Galaxy S2. However it is expected to feature a bigger 4.6î screen. The phone supposedly lacks button on the front screen unlike the S2 which at least had a home button on the bottom of the screen. Also as everyone knows (info. leaked by Samsung) the Samsung will use the new FOLED technology in its screen- So you can expect the phone to come in an unusual shape. (Maybe not)
One of the major complaints with the Samsung Galaxy S2 was its battery support. A 1650mAh battery couldn’t do justice to the large 4.3″ screen and the phone pretty soon ran out of power. A little bird told me that the successor will have a battery with better configuration and at the same time other hardware features (like energy efficient FOLED screen) are carefully chosen so that the phone efficiency is increased considerably.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is expected to be launched in April 2012. Before that however we would be real thankful if the phone is displayed in the Mobile Congress set to begin from 27th March, (to 1st April) so that we can feast our eyes beforehand we grab the new Samsung Galaxy S3 with the Ice cream Sandwich. Yummy!
